LOL you have two " " at the end of your .ini files --> invalid file

and in .menu.ini you don't have to use " bcause this file is only for Joomla 1.5 …

I don't know exactly. Install proces in 1.6 don't gave me any error. But only menu items are translated in 1.6. In 1.5 everything is allright.

Yes that's an known issue …

Joomla 1.6 is very strict … in Joomla 1.5 you can nearly do what you want and it works …
