Yes, Gindi, that's right, but this is usually fixed automatically when upgrading to 7.0.1. I have the configuration report for Joomla 5.4.4-dev and Kunena 6.3.10 here. I then updated to K6.4.5 and then to K7.0. This is the second configuration report. You can compare both yourself.

I remember that a long time ago, when the configuration table was changed, some users experienced errors, but these only affected the configuration itself. In any case, my old K6.3.10 also shows duplicate configurations in the report. However, this does not cause any errors.

Conf K6.3.10

Yes, I just noticed that with Kunena 6.4.10 as well.
I couldn't check this with Kunena 7.0.1 because the Kunena detailed configuration is empty there.

Unfortunately, nothing worked.
6.4.5 shows errors both during installation and later.
Installing K7.0.1 over 6.4.5 goes "without errors" – it says "Package installation completed successfully."
But in reality, 6.4.5 remains in the Kunena dashboard after this. And in the _kunena_version table, the last row remains
63 6.4.5 2025-08-23 2026-02-28 6.4.5 Montesiro 1 .

I've tried many different things, but I'm completely lost track of what's going on.
1. I checked to see if the database changed when upgrading from 5.3.10 to 6.4.5. I didn't notice any external changes – both the number and names of tables remained the same. So, only individual tables have changed. Which ones?
2. Could the _kunena_version table be interfering with the installation? Maybe something needs to be changed?
3. Gindi wrote in post #234650, "there are still entries with underscores." Is there a way I can "clean up" the configuration, if you could tell me how?

If anyone in the know wants to look at the live site, I'll close access to it for visitors, make a backup, and provide the password for the admin panel. It's in English.
On the site, as suggested in this thread, the Kunena menus have been updated and a trick has been performed to clear the text field in the configuration table.

I'd be grateful for your continued support.

Thank you.  Но если структура базы данных изменилась, разве так не должно быть?

Perhaps the problem lies in the fact that you have installed Joomla 4.4.14.
You should update to Joomla 5.
Kunena 6.4 has been designed to work on Joomla! 5.0 and later.

Thank you.
The topic starter wrote about Joomla 4.4.14 in the first post of this thread.
I've been using Joomla 5 for at least a year now, currently using Joomla! 5.4.3 Stable [ Kutegemea ] 17-February-2026 16:00 GMT.
Specifically, I'm trying to overcome this issue because I want to upgrade to Joomla 6 and Kunena 7.

I wanted to try to reproduce your problems on my local test server, and I noticed that three out of four configuration reports in Joomla use the ‘GiCH_site_template’ template.
The Google search showed me: Based on search resultsGiCh_site_template appears to be a Joomla default template with the following details:
Author: lr
Version: 1.0.2
Creation Date: 2025-04-20
It is mentioned in the context of debugging Kunena forum installations and Joomla site configurations.

It would be good if we could agree on the Joomla template Cassiopei in future so that we can reproduce your results and errors.
