hello for Joomla 4 you will need to download and install kunena version 6.0.x
I assume then that your not yet existing joomla 3 website with kunena .
But that you are working on a clean joomla version 4 and now want to install kunena
so take the good kunena version 6

Hello,

Like said by Leen, first disable the plugin Kunena - AltaUserPoints Integration, the AltaUserPoints component has no version for Joomla! 4.x

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

In which Joomla version do you install Kunena ?
v4.2.3

For Joomla 4.2.3 you need Kunena 6.0.x
Am I correct in assuming that this is a new installation? Did you backup your website before?
After trying to install the wrong Kunena version, Kunena 6.0 can no longer be installed, it would break your backend.
My suggestion:
1. restore your website with the backup to the state before the attempt.
2. install the correct Kunena version 6.0.3

I have now resolved the issues.

I cleared out the backend files of Kunena and all the sql entries.

Then installed v6.0.3 which is now working, albeit with some modifications required.

How can i remove the members list on the frontend ?? I do not want this visible to registered users on my site.

Also where do i change the .CSS for the user dropdown menu. Currently it opens to the right of the page and makes the page larger, not ideal for mobile use.

You need only upgrade to Kunena 6.0.4, and this problem is solved.
