Question Fresh install from 5.1.15
First sorry if my english is uncorrect i'm french
I made a fresh install from
Joomla 3.9.15
Php 7.4.2
IIS 10 Express
Mysql Workbench 8 CE
www.obt.myddns.me
All plugin and components seems to be installed (compare from an other old website)
All table seems to be created (compare from an other old website)
But i'm stuck on the Error on Kunena Installation message en progression bar with no more details
Closing this message return me on joomla backend
When i try to acess kunena from component menu i get the install error message again
On the main joomla backend i get the Extension message " Please complete the Kunena installation"
When i try to acess kunen from the front menu, i get "Forum is offline"
Maybe you can light me on this issue

Please try to install Kunena 4.0.12 first, then upgrade to the current version.
Maybe you must remove already existing *_kunena_tables previously.
Download unena 4.0.12 here: github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/releases/tag/4.0.12
Probably you get errors during the installation (Kunena 4.0.12 is not written for Joomla 3.x) and therefore ignore these errors. When this installation is ready, then install Kunena 5.1 over it.
I hope it works.

I don't know your SQL knowledge, but when all this tables in your database exist, it should be possible to install Kunena.
(In principle it could also work, if you import this file in your database and adjust the prefixes.) Try it on a test page first.

i push all the table on my database, but still the same result
Maybe i have a clue on this issue. Windows 10 lock the folder usage to read only. Not files but only the folder. May be the installer try to rename a folder and its is locked by windows security
I will try to overpass this, and i'll inform you

At the end of the installation, on my system, the installer was unable to delete the "X:\inetpub\wwwroot\mywebsite\administrator\components\com_kunena\install.php" file
Deleting it solved the problem
I have no explanation of the issue. Windows10 System put all new file directly in read only mode. The fresh install files of kunena are directly locked
