Hello !
(sorry I'm french, my english is a bit rusty)
I've just updated my Joomla website in the last version (3.7.3), and Kunena is now running in the 4.0.12 version.
But I'm wondering why I don't have an updating signal to Kunena 5 ?
I can always download it and install it by FTP, but I'm afraid it will erase all the parameters (this forum is quite active and big...).
Please, someone can give me some insight about what I should do ?

Thanks.
Christine

You can install it over the old version, no topics (or posts) will be deleted, but the template Blue Eagle will removed. The fastest way is the installation via url.
But nevertheless important! Create a backup previously. Better it would be if you try it on a test page first.

It will saved in the database. If you want, you can also create a extra backup from all kunena tables.
In principle, if you save the kunena tables and the folder "media/kunena" you have all what you need as backup.
