Kunena 6.4.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Hi, i have a Kunena Forum with community Builder on a joomla ‎4.4.13
I installed CB only to have a pn system running for the forum
It works mostly good.
But recently i get more and more spam registrations.
So now i would install a captcha function.
But i had to learn that a captcha with CB is only working when you by a subscription for 100 euro and install a new plugin from CB
So i would like to de-install CB and try it without CB.
Could someone give me an advice what's the best way is to de-install cb without losing any data from Kunena ?
Best regards
Gunter

As far as I know you can uninstall CB without problems.
But it is safe to make a backup before doing so.

You can also use a different captcha for the registration, as this is done via Joomla. You do not need to uninstall the CB for this.

This was the first what i tried, but until now without success....  :-(
Joomla captcha is enabled and has the needed keys from google.
But, so i think, because of the fact that the User Registration (for Kunena) is done in CB the captcha never appears ...
Any advice how to get captcha working with installed CB ?

I think you'll have to disable (or uninstall CB). When CB is installed, registrations go automatically to CB registration page and I see no possibility to change that. You can see the difference yourself by disabling CB via extension manager (search for community) and disable everything, Kunena plugin for CB is then disabled as well.

@Pinkeltje Yes, you are right, I also did not find a way to use the Joomla registration.
