Hi,
I use Kunena forum on one page of my website.
On this forum-page my "regular" joomla menu modul in the menu position at the top of the page is not shown, only the kunena menu in the content area.
Is there a conflict to have both menus on the site? Or what could be the problem?

I use the newest version of Joomla (Cassiopeia template) and of Kunena, but I have this problem already since I installed it. You can see it here (the menu should be at the top next to the search field)  www.nach-holland.de/auswander-forum

Thanks for any help

Have you assigned your main menu module to all pages? This has nothing to do with Kunena, but with your site settings BTW.

Yes, I assigned the menu to all pages. It's just not showing up on the forum page. So I thought maybe it's a menu conflict.
But if this is not possible I search further in the Joomla settings. Thamks anyway.

Is your menu-item auswander-forum an alias of a Kunena menu-item? This should be an alias. Maybe that is the problem.

It's an alias.
It's very strange. With another custom-module on the page I have no problem. Only the menu-module doesn't work.

Check your menu module(s) assignments again. I really can't think of anything other than that.

Hi Pinkeltje,
it's not the module-position, the menu level is the problem I found out now.
The menu I want to show starts at level 2. But because the menu-alias is linking to the kunena menu the forum is then on level 1. And so the menu is not shown.
Now, I have to find out how I get the forum to level 2 ;-)
Thanks for your help!

Okay I found the solution. Very easy.
In the Joomla Menu module I had to define a basis item (normally I never do), now the menu is shown.

I honestly don't understand why, but now it works fine :-)
