The RSS feeds works for all of the PUBLIC topics.
There is a section with categories, only available to a special group and super users. In the Index these categories on the front-end do have the RSSfeed icon. If these links are inserted in Feedreader it reports that there are no feeds.

What do I do wrong. I've not found it in the documentation.

Hello,

For a category restricted you can't have topics to appear in the public RSS feed

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Xillibit,
I understand, but if that is impossible why are the RSS-icons still shown? I would expect that these icons are hidden.
