Kunena 6.3.5 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.5 [K 6.3.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

Hi,
I have redesigned my website with Joomla > 4.x since lots of ballast was there.
Last step was installing Kunena

Is it possible to import the old database from Kunena 5.x (J3.10) into the database of Kunena 6.x (J4.x)?
Any protocol for this?

The one on the Kunena site I tried: it makes a mess!

Kind regards
Arnoud

Yes, but only with K 5.1 or K 5.2 tables. Kunena must not yet be installed!
If Kunena is already installed on Joomla 4.x, it must be removed via Kunena Dashboard -> Tools. This removes Kunena together with its database tables.
Then import the K 5 tables and install Kunena 6.x and check everything.
Finally, copy the contents of the attachments and avatars folders from your old installation (or backup) to the new site. Path is media/kunena

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Thanks. Worked like a charm.
Maybe a good idea to post this in the Kunena documentation?
