I apologize if this is answered somewhere but I've been searching the forums for the last 5 days and all I can find are posts from 11 years ago.

Is there some kind of trick to uploading and displaying .gif emoticons? I've tried uploading through the Emoticons dashboard or whatever. It doesn't give me an error or anything but they are nowhere to be found.

Can somebody help or send me a link to where I can find the answer? Thanks!

Where would you like to upload a GIF? As an attachment in a forum post?

I'd like the users to be able to choose from .gif emoticons as well as some of the .png emoticons that are already included to be used in their forum posts. Thanks.

If you want the smileys in the frontend editor modal, you must mark the checkbox.

I can't get it to show the .gif's that I upload so I'm unable to show them. It won't show in the list, it's like they didn't upload at all. There is no error and no confirmation they were uploaded.

Ah, I got it. Thank you Rich. I wasn't seeing the "New Smilie" at the top. That works. Again, thank you!
