Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Still having trouble understanding how to do a simple setup of Kunena ...

Please see the attached screen shot. Can the "Members" and "Statistics" sections be removed from this display?

Well, I found one way of doing it.



What I did was to totally comment-out the contents of these two files:

C:\Websites\Modesty\components\com_kunena\template\crypsis\layouts\widget\whoisonline\default.php
C:\Websites\Modesty\components\com_kunena\template\crypsis\layouts\widget\statistics\default.php

But I'm guessing that this isn't so smart, because these files will get replaced whenever an update is installed, right?

Any other suggestions, please?

or you could got to

Joomla Admin --> Kunena --> Configuration --> Extra

and set 'Show Statistics' and 'Show Who is Online' to off



These settings might also help you.

Joomla Admin --> Kunena --> Configuration --> Security

Allow Guests to see Stats link - Despit its name it controls the viewing of the Stats area.
Allow Guests to see Userlist
Allow Guests to see User Profiles
