Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Is it possible to create new topics from an external RSS feed?

For example, using a news feed from a site such as BBC News

I would want to do this in a 'legal' way, showing the article as supplied by the feed with backlinks.

I'm sorry, that's not possible. You can't login via RSS in Kunena.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Anyone can subscribe a feed. There is no possibility to check, which user want to create topics. As I had already written, it's not possible, also not with a component.

I found a Joomla Component called obGrabber which does the job very well for me :)
