I've recently added SSL to my site, but I noticed that my email notifications which contains a generated URL to the forum post that is new, but it does not contain the https. After going to it and logging in, the URL is not SSL.

As a side note, my SSL is active for the whole site, and I have all http redirecting 301 to the https. I currently do not have the "Force SSL" enabled as it appears I do not need it.

Any way to have this automatically generated email use the https version and not the http version?

UPDATE: Actually, I just set the Force SSL and added the https domain to my configuration live site variable, so I will see if this does the trick.

Hello,

I will check if i can put the links in SSL in mails notifications, when on the site the SSL is enabled.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Follow up....

After adding the https domain version to the "live site" attributes in my site's Joomla configuration.php file and forcing the SSL via the admin side global configuration, my notifications now come with the https url links for the forum post in my site.
