Solved Template Overrides

Is there a "How to" or any documentation in relation to creating template overrides?

I understand I need to first create a directory called "com_kunena" under /"site_root"/templates/"template_name"/html/ but curious where I put any CSS overrides. All I actually want to do is change some fonts which I suppose I could do in the original template but that runs the risk of being overwritten with any future updates.

html changes you must do it on the template overrides. If you only need to change custom css, then you can add the css on the custom.css or if crypsis custom.less. By the kunena template manager.
