Solved attachment images missing in back-end after migration

Hello,

i had to move the Kunena forum databases to a fresh joomla installation.

So i first imported the joomla user and group databases.
Then continued with all Kunena tables (after installing Kunena)

All works fine but in the backend attachments images are not shown:


Everything else, also the attachments in front-end, is shown.

Any ideas what went wrong and how can i fix it?

we have fixed this bug on K4.0.6 i think, which version are you using?

4.0.7 was installed before.
Then installed Kunena 4.0.8 on the new Joomla and imported the database from the 4.0.7 version.

Maybe i should have installed the 4.0.7 version again and then update. But i could not find it in the download section, just the latest version.

ok, just see it was fixed one K4.0.6

and when you click on the attach, has been fixed on K4.0.8

so it should work?

i checked my files and the components/com_kunena/admin/template/joomla25/layouts/attachment/item/default.php is the recent one. Can't be different as i installed 4.0.8 freshly. Just the database imports are from 4.0.7 version.

You write only, that you have imported the database. Have you also imported the complete content from media/kunena?

oh sorry, yes of course. But that's really all i did

I've tested it and see this error. The error exists also after upgrade from K 4.0.5 to K 4.0.6 and also to K 4.0.7. It's a wrong path.
/administrator/media/kunena/attachments/453/rich.png
correctly would be
/media/kunena/attachments/453/rich.png
But upgrade to K 4.0.8 solves this problem. Please install Kunena 4.0.8 again.

Your configuration report has helped me and I found the cause. It's a bug. Images which are uploaded when protect attachments is active, will not appear in the backend.
