We have Kunena 4.0.6 and use the Kunea login not the Joomula one. When a user types in the username or password incorrectly it just displays the log in screen with no indication that an error occurred. Is there some way to tell the user they entered either a wrong user name or password?

Thanks

This message should come from Joomla. Kunena has no own login it uses the Joomla login. Maybe your Joomla template shows no alert messages?

could you try the protostar joomla template. and try. If you see the error message, then you haven't got messagesbox on your joomla template, you need to contact your joomla template builder.
