Solved Topic Titles Preview for Guest

Hi everyone,

I have a question: I have blocked reading access on forum for guest, but I would like them to view just the titles of the topics without being able to enter them and read.

Is it this possible some way?

I need it mostly to show on the homepage the latest discussions in a module

P.S. I would like also to change the message
"There are no categories in this section!" with "You have to login to see categories in this section"

Forum is not dead, but ran by volunteers. Please keep that in mind!
No answer for your first question, but you can change the text by making a language override.

This is known as a "teaser" .

1) This can be done, by rewriting the template. There is no settings to have that behavior.

but like Sozzled said, you can use the teaser feature, that will display the first message, and hide the message on the other replies.

2) Yes, see Pinkeltje reply. You must use joomla language override.
