Kunena 6.1.0 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.1.0 [K 6.1.0] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x & J! 4.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.0 and issues discovered during the development stages of K 6.0

Hi,

when looking at all plugins, components, modules that have 'kunena' in its name I noticed that I have two versions installed of the following:
* Kunena Language - Dutch (Netherlands)
* version 4.0.3 and
* version 3.0.7
* Kunena Media Files
* version 4.0.3 and
* version 3.0.7

I uninstalled language files version 3.0.7 just to find that my forum is not dutch anymore but english. I fixed that by reinstalling the 4.x language pack :)

Question is: what happens / gets broken when I uninstall Kunena Media Files version 3.0.7?

it should remove some images,js.

But do a full backup first.

Do a reinstall kunena package to be safe afterwards.

Thanks Jelle,

I think it also possible to not install the complete kunena package, but just reinstall the component kunena_media_v4.0.3.zip (that is part of the kunena package).

please correct me if I'm wrong.

not a big issue though, but now that I know that the leftovers are there it is hard to ignore them :whistle:
