Solved Registration not working

Hi

I have added the component and when a user creates an account it works successfully and the activation email is received. When the account is then activated and the user tries to login they get the error message

Warning

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

The account username and password are correct and the user is registered in the joomla User Manager.

Could you please advise what the issue is here?

do you see the user in the kunena user manager in the backend.

yes - the user is showing in the joomla User Manager and in the Kunena User Manager. If you test using the link provided above you will see that you create an account but you are then not able to login.

Please test and advise what the issue is?

then the user registration Is set wrong.

Please add kunena report.

We use the joomla registration.

What do you see on the kunena user manager. Is all enabled and activated. or all users blocked?

Then there must be a js conflict. Try To Update Joomla First. 3.2.0 is old and not supported.

If still not working, try other joomla template.

The issues in this topic are discussed in detail in the topic User registration and/or general login issues .

The problem is not with user registration. As 810 wrote earlier, Kunena "uses Joomla registration". The problem lies with the login process.

The problem is unlikely to involve the Joomla template. It is possible that there is a Javascript conflict somewhere but, without getting deeply involved with the way that the site was set up, I am not going to jump to any conclusions. 810 is right in suggesting that you should update Joomla.

There may be issues involved in using Kunena with sh404SEF that you might consider.
