Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Error following operating system migration

Yesterday I upgraded my operating system from OpenSUSE Leap 15.6 to OpenSUSE Leap 16.0.All programmes and applications are working as they should; I only have a problem with the text and replies in the Kunena forum. This only affects posts written by users in the editor window. I use the CKEditor, but I have the same problem with the SCEditor. It affects not only the local backups but also the text on the live site.If I type “Today is a very nice day” in the editor, after saving it appears as “Today   is   a   very   nice   day”.Everything else outside the editor window is displayed normally. When I visit the Kunena forum online, the entire forum is affected by these long spaces between words. On the Joomla forum and the Joomla website, everything is normal.Could this be because OpenSUSE Leap 16.0 no longer supports 32-bit applications or functions?I haven’t found anything on how to adjust the spacing between words either. At the moment, I’m at a loss.Does anyone have any ideas?Regards, gindi
