Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

My website is having problems when trying to do an Joomla update from 5.4.1 to latest recommended  either 5.4.3 or 6.
When I tried doing an update it caused all kinds of errors.   So I've decided to just rebuild the site on a new server.   But this might be too much work, because I want to also migrate the Kunena Forum as there are some users with accounts and posts to Kunena Fourm.  

How do I build a new Joomla site and migrate the Kunena Forum into it?

1. Export all Kunena database tables
2. Export all Joomla user tables (you need these so that you have the same Kunena users for the posts)
3. Export the media/kunena folder
4. Create the new Joomla website
5. Replace the Joomla user tables with those from the old site
6. Import the Kunena tables
7. Import the media/kunena folder
8. Install Kunena
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
