Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have two top level categories each with sub categories.  For example:

General Support
  - Installs
  - questions
Old Categories
  - category a
  - category b

My question is;  when a user selects New Topic,  I want only General Support sub categories can be available, not Old categories.

Am I correct in assuming that posts in the “General Support” section and in the old topics are no longer allowed, but only in the two subcategories ‘Installations’ and “Questions”?
Then you just need to lock these categories where it is not allowed, so that only administrators and moderators can post there. Locked categories are not visible to registered users in the list.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
