Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Kunena 7.0 Installation

I attempted to install Kunena 7.0.0 via the Joomla updater, but received the following message: danger
Invalid extension update

I then installed the downloaded installation files in the backend via “System / Extensions / Upload Package File.”
Kunena 7 was not displayed in the backend / Notifications as expected, but in a new window called 3rd Party.

Is this now the new standard or is it a bug?

Hello,

If you was on K6.4.8 i haven't yet modified the update files to allow the update to K7.0.0, i'am going to do it now.

On which version you was before the update ?

I have allowed to Joomla! updater to show Kunena 7.0.0 for users which are on K6.4.8.
I have tested on a site which was on K6.4.8, Joomla! updater shows Kunena 7.0.0 and then the update was done with issues.

I have now reinstalled Kunena 7.0 using the Joomla installer. Kunena is still displayed as a third-party installation on the admin page. The cache directory contains “com_kunena_configuration” with two files.
When I log in on the user page, the following message appears: The requested page could not be found.
At the bottom it says:
If you encounter any problems, please contact the administrator of this website.

I created a new test version with the Lifesite update and installed Kunena 7.0 with the Joomla updater.
In the backend, Kunena is still 3rd party.

I activated debug and error reporting.

In the frontend, the error “The requested page could not be found” appeared again when logging in.
The error “0 Class ‘JPagination’ not found” was also displayed.

The call stack showed “uddeim” as the error.
After deactivating the “uddeim Mailbox” module, I was able to log in to the frontend as normal.

It was not a Kunena error.
