Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Registerd users are getting the message,

I posted on Joomla Forum and was told this could be caused by Kunena or Kunena Discuss and that is why I am posting here.

This has nothing to do with Kunena itself, but rather with the fact that you changed your ACL settings. I wonder why you created an extra group of Kunena admins, but that aside...

First, check that the permissions for the 'Public' group are all set to 'Not Set'.
The most useful thing to do is to restore a backup from before you started experimenting with ACL.

ACL is complicated, and changing settings without knowing what you're doing can lead to unwanted behaviour that is often difficult to fix.
