Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Are the modules Kunena Stats and Kunena Search rudiments?

I noticed that the modules Kunena Search and Kunena Statistics are not updated.

On the Extensions: Management page, they are shown in rows:
Kunena Search     Site     Modul     6.0.5 10.12.2023
Kunena Statistics  Site     Modul     6.0.5 10.12.2023 

Disabling these modules did not affect the functioning of the Kunena - the search and calculation of statistics are working fine. 

Can these modules be deleted altogether?

I wouldn't ask this question if in kunena.org/download these modules would be not offered for download.

These are extensions that are not required for Kunena operation. You can, but do not have to use them. These modules can be removed without hesitation.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
