Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.
Question Size of kunena/attachments
Any strategies on how one would reduce the size, delete attachments, or whatever?

Or in the Backend -> Kunena -> Tools -> Prune Categories you can select a time frame up to which older topics should be deleted. This deletes older topics including attachments.

Yes, I have used this to remove archive categories. However, it does result in errors when running diagnostic. Correcting the diagnostic errors does not seem to cause any problems.

Yes, one can do this but there is no way to tell what the impact is, what broken links happen. I did try this and it generated a bunch of diagnostics.

I have tested it and cannot confirm diagnostic errors. However, it may happen that orphaned entries or dependencies remain in the database. This will be displayed in the diagnostics. Clicking the "Repair" button will remove these entries. You should always have a database backup before performing this action!> Or in the Backend -> Kunena -> Tools -> Prune Categories

This action should also remove the links to the attachments from the message. But if the message only contains an image without text, an empty response remains.> Backend -> Kunena -> Attachments
