Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the

page.
If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I thought it was related to the Kunena Discuss Plugin. If not what it then? I cannot find category settings. See photo attached. I only see what the attached photo shows.

You can only set anonymous for categories and not for sections (your screenshot is from a section I think).
FYI: Kunena Discuss is an extra plugin for Kunena Forum which allows users to discuss Joomla articles in the Kunena forum.

Guests are always anonymous anyway, it is not possible to check who they are.
But if you want to give guests the right to write, you must allow this separately.
1. kunena configuration - Security tab - Allow Guests to Post/Write = Yes
2. additionally give permission in one or more selected categories under Category Permissions tab (see image).

The setting anonymous writing is only for registered users.I would like to have registered users be able to reply to a topic anonymously. Is it also possible for guests to post anonymously?
