Kunena 6.3.5 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.5 [K 6.3.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Good day everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm considering purchasing a product from 9ThemeStore , specifically one of their Kunena templates. I was wondering if anyone in our community has had experience with these templates.
If you have, would you be kind enough to share your thoughts? I'm particularly interested in hearing about:
  1. Your overall experience using the template
  2. The quality and responsiveness of their support team
  3. The template's responsiveness across different devices
  4. Any compatibility issues you may have encountered
  5. The setup process and general ease of use

Any insights you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Kunena always the best!

They have been brilliant, they even designed a template more or less specifically for us. After the demise of Blue Eagle for Kunena 5, we were trying to get something similar and they came up with the goods with NTS Kbee.
The only issue is that you have to keep an eye on the Kunena updates and the fact they may not be compactable, having said that the few times we have had an issue, 9Themestore have sorted it in hours and given an update.
Also to install any updates , you have to return to Aurella , uninstall and then reinstall the updated template. They do give full instruction on this.
Would definitely recommend.

  1. Not too bad
  2. Some issues are solved quickly, but others not or after a long time.
  3. Good, but personally I don't like the way they display recent topics on mobile devices.
  4. No issues when the template is updated to use the latest Kunena version. They are often slow to update the template when there is a new Kunena version and then you have to ask for it yourself via their forum. So is is important to check if the template is updated before updating Kunena.
  5. Easy
In addition to @Petley, you can update through ftp as well by first unzipping the package and removing params.ini from config folder.

I use (and maintain) my own template on Kunena for my own support forum. Keeping it in sync with Kunena changes is a big effort every time a new version comes out.
Mainly due to the cheer number of files that a template consists of.
Maybe an idea to discuss this for a future version of Kunena: simplify the way the front-end is implemented and by doing so making it more powerful.
Just a thought :)
