Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I'm looking at Kunena as an option to migrate from an existing but dying forum (westhamonline.co.uk).

We have our forum posts setup, such that when opening the topic, the first message seen is the thread starter, and then all subsequent messages are listed in the order of most recent post, such that new content when opening the thread appears at the top, but you get to see the message that started it all when opening the first page of the Topic.

Is there any way to do this in Kunena.  It will be a bit of a barrier for adoption if not.

The display sequence is not a problem. This can generally be set in the configuration or individually in the user profiles.
However, it is not possible, always to display the message of the topic author. This requires scrolling or, if the topic has several pages, turning the page.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!
