Kunena 6.2.2 Released with module Latest 6.0.5, module Kunena Stats 6.0.5, Kunena Discuss 6.0.5 and Kunena Search module 6.0.5

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.2 [K 6.2.2] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have a Dark Template and Cannot See Kunena, how to change? was created by Josh65
Hi

Running kunena 6.1.2. on localhost

I have a dark (black) template, installed Kunena and although its working, the frontend is also dark, so i cant read anything.
From what i can see by highlighting page it appears as options are all text (pre-2000 look), how to make look modern, ie buttons etc.

I have explored the menus but cant find any options that helps.

How does one start to configure this, i am sure once i can get started it will make more sense.
I have read the documentation page but too much is not in there.

Help appreciated.

Hi Josh65,
I have tried to install the S5 Forte template and Kunena 6.1.2 on my localhost and found the main reason of your issue. When you choose bootstrap dark style, all your text is set to white so you can't see the text on the forum background.

Solutions:
1. You need custom background of the Aurelia template to dark color.
2. Use a kunena dark style template for your website.

Thanks.

While it does not cover latest joomla or kunena, it  is a starting point.

More seriously after examing the code generated it lookslike kunena has lots of links to
ie <ol =mediumclass="=mediummod-kunena-breadcrumbs breadcrumb" =mediumitemtype="=medium" =mediumitemscope="">

Can this be stopped, as it brings in external security problems, and makes the forum not useable in a locked local network.
