Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Uninstall it, or deactivate it completely via the Joomla extension manager (Extensions -> Manage -> Manage. For Kunena 6.0 there is an adapted Discuss plugin, which you then have to install.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

I can't afford this.   Looks like I will have to find a free extension.   
It's $11/month.
Can you recommend another extension for Kunena?

I found the "basic" for Disqus. But I don't want this plugin, all I want is the Kunena. But the error PLG_KUNENADISCUSS_DEPENDENCY_FAIL comes up unless I install Disqus. How do I get rid of the error without having to install Disqus. Or maybe Kunena can't work anymore without the Disqus plugin.

I'm sorry, I've never dealt with anything like this. I don't know if there are similar free extensions. You might find something here: extensions.joomla.org/

Uninstall the plugin if you don't need it.
