Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hey guys,

Is there a tutorial out there that explains how to include private messages into ck editor?

Could not find anything on the web. Maybe someone has a link where its explained, at least some basic infos?

Since uddeim is not available for Joomla 4 is there another solid alternative without installing a complete social network component?

Thanks a lot

It is not a PN system comparable to Uddeim. If there is a topic, you have the reply button under each post. For example, if I click reply under your post and write something inside the code tags
This message contains secure information
, only you can read it, but no other users. But unfortunately, it doesn't work yet. github.com/Kunena/Kunena-Forum/issues/8998

i see thanks

so basically its a private message to the topic creator only?
or you can select/type a specific user who is allowed to read the message?

You can write a PM to any user in a topic. Under each message, there is a Reply button. When someone clicks Reply under your post (regardless of where the post is located), the PM is for you.
Example for this topic here:
If you click the Reply button below my post, the private text would be for me.
