Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi,

we are using a kunena forum as a knowledge base. Now i have to setup a new webserver for internal use, because OS is running out of support. Does anybody know how to export all entries, articles, categories and so on and import it into the new database?

I don´t want to reinstall complete old joomla because there are a lot of things i don´t want to use.

Thanks for your help!

Regards
Frank

There are different ways to go, depending on which versions are currently installed. We need more information please.

Hi,
that would be my problem. Currently, there is a version 4.0.10 on the website, but we are creating a new website with Joomla version 4, which would already have the latest version 6.0.5. Is there any solution so that all media, posts (the whole forum) can be copied?
thank you for helping me

Export and import directly from Kunena 4.0 is not possible. You must first update your site to Joomla 3.10 and Kunena 5.2. Then continue with these steps: docs.kunena.org/en/basics/upgrade/upgrade-k6-0
