Question Make the Kunena menu the main site menu withou /forum alias

1 year 3 weeks ago #1 by c_schmitz

the title says it all. We have a dedicated forum site where basically only Kunena is running.
We want to make the Kunena menu also the main menu.
However, it looks like all links inside the Kunena menu still are aliased to /forum,

So our URL looks like

I would like to look it like this:

How would I make this possible (if it is possible at all).

Thank you for any suggestions.

Best regards

I'm sorry, but I've no solution for you. The menu item "Forum" in the Kunena menu is not a alias, it is the main menu item "Home" of Kunena. If you disable this menu item, Kunena will not work.
I see on your example, that the address beginning with "forums", so I think it gives more then one forum on your domain or this designation was chosen only unhappily.
Maybe it looks better if you change the alias name of this menu item to your general purpose of this forum.
Example: forums.yourdomain.org/our-association/recent (at least you have not 2x "forum" in the address)

Maybe other users have better solutions.

We want to make the Kunena menu also the main menu.

Set the menu item "Forum" in the Kunena menu as default (click on the star) and you're landing directly in the forum with this link forums.yourdomain.org/
