Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have recently migrated a Joomla Kunena website to a new server and I think something is wrong with my cache/session settings.

Some users get logged out after around 15 minutes, and they cannot access the server entirely, but then after a few refreshes, it works again

My questions are:
1. What are the best cache settings to use (default)
2. What are the best cache setting on joomla to use (default)

I would like to acheive that to at least have a starting point.

Kunena 5.0.11 is not supported anymore. I'm not sure if this version still works correctly with Joomla 3.9.13. If you upgrade Kunena, do it on a test page first.

It seems it's chosen the default session time of Joomla. Joomla and Kunena session times must be set to the same time period (for Joomla in minutes and Kunena in seconds).

1. Backup
2. Upgrade Kunena
3. Double-check cache settings on both Joomla and Kunena

Understood. I have made the changes and they are both now 1800 which seems to be the default.

Thank you so much for your assistance and advice. I will be upgrading Kunena and it seems the Joomla version also requires updates.
