Question New users

I have block new users messaging users for 24 hours.

Can I block new users posting on the forum for 24 hours?

What is the reason why users are not allowed to write 24 hours? In Kunena it is not possible to allow messages after a certain time. If you want prevent spam, you can moderate new users. Enter a number of posts which reviewed by moderators prior to publishing.
You find this option in the Kunena configuration -> tab Users -> Moderate New Users.
In principle it's enough if you enter the number 1, because spammers (bots) already write spam in theyr first post. So you can delete the message instead publish.

Not allowing them to write for 24 hours, is because we can ban them from spamming by looking at their profile we can detect what user is a scammer.

I have found "moderate new users" but it doesn't give a time limit on new users so how long does kunena give for new users to be a normal user? A day? week? 2 weeks?

Kunena has no time limit for new users. There is no matter whether the user writes on first day or after a month. If you use this option, the number of posts to be checked remain always the same (only those messages are counted which were allowed by moderators).
When this number is reached, he can publish his message without previous control by a moderator.
