Kunena 5.2.8 released and Blue eagle 1.6.7 released (02 Jan 2022)

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 5.2.8 [K 5.2.8] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 3.10/3.9.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 5.2 and issues discovered during the development stages of previous version of K5.2.

If you are using blue template you need to update to 1.6.7 version to ensure to have a compatible version with K5.2.8.

Important note: (07 Jan 2022) If you have created a Kunena custom.css, create a backup of it. Due to an error, this file will be deleted during an upgrade.

× Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Upload image from clipboard using ctrl+v

2 years 2 months ago #1 by Deveshi

I see there is a feature in Kunena where if u copy a web image with ctrl+c and paste with ctrl+v in kunena it automatically recognizes the web image and embeds in the post using the web image link function. However, from what ive seen this function does not work if you are attempting to paste an image from the clipboard (such after using the windows snippet tool). In the case of these images, the image must first be saved to the computer then uploaded via the attachments functions.

This is a feature that is present is various other software such as community builder or discord so I'm wondering what it would take to add it to kunena as well?
