Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Is there "Allow different topic layouts" in Kunena 5.1.7 ?

Hi,
In the parameters of the current version of Kunena 5.1.7 (template BlueEagle5)
disappeared a useful function - allow users to choose different topic layouts (Threaded, Flat, Indented).

In Kunena 3.0.8, this parameter "Allow different topic layouts"
was next behind the "Default topic layout" parameter.

With this option the user could switch the layout directly in the forum.

Can this option be restored (if I'm not confused).

Thanks.

In our templates, this feature has been removed but we have not deleted this options, in case that other template authors want to use it.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Thank you for the answer, though it is sad.

Visitors of my site miss this option. ((.

Since the administrator can choose one from three options, you have everything you need to restore it, don't you?
Is there such work in your plans?

If not, can I try to insert such an option into the Override?

Happy new year.
