Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi, I would like to allow posts viewing to anyone, but I would like to allow only to a special sub-category of users (supporters who pay a subscription) to write posts in my forum. I checked in kunena backend settings, but I didn't try to find how to do this.

Is it possible?

Not sure, but suppose it should be possible when you assign those users to a custom user group.

That's what I've done. I created a custom user gruop called "supporters" under Registered users, but kunena only allows me to choose registered users and not custom users groups.

I created a user group called "Supporters", under teh group "Registered". See attachment
