I have a setup on my site where guests are allowed to post. I only have one category and it is encouraged for guests to post. The problem I am having is that even when I am logged-in, I am still seeing the warning that I am posting as 'guest' and will not be allowed to edit my post. It is showing my username in the name field but it is reminding me to login or register to skip this step next time, even though I am logged in. Thoughts?

You allow anonymous posts in your categories. Anonymous posts and guest write access are not the same. Anonymous messages can be used by registered users to post sensitive informations.

I have anonymous posts enabled and do get the option to post anonymously when logged in but I still see the warning that I am not logged in even when I am logged in. I also do want guest post options.

That's logical. If you allow anonymous posts, you will not perceived as registered user. Therefore you see this message.
