The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.5 [K 6.3.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

On my test site I installed Kunena 5.1.0-RC3 over a Kunena 5.0.14 installation. After the update user names are not showing anywhere in the forum. What is wrong?

The problem is caused by the function getName() in the user.php file. If I replace the function with the one from Kunena 5.0.14 it works.

I installed rc4. Still no user names are displayed. Nowhere in the forum. Even in my own profile my user name ist not displayed. My test site ist a copy of a live website running with Kunena 5.0.14. The live site has no issues with user names and I did not change any settings.

I found out the reason for the issue. The Community Builder Integration plugin was enabled and I have not installed Community Builder (never had). I disabled the plugin and now it works. I don't remember that I have enabled it. Could it be that the plugin was enabled by default in the past? I started our forum with Kunena 1.6.
