Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have a category that is showing the wrong alias.

My Forum is here quantumwarp.com/forum

The faulty Category is QWcrm because it keeps pointing to quantumwarp.com/support .


So I ran the 'Diagnostics' in the tools section and it showed 1 error in categoryMissingAlias which matches up with my error.


There is no link to correct the issue and I can not find any documentation on how to fix this checking:

I have check the menu items in the rest of joomla and one was pointing to this category with the alias of support so i removed this and now the alias is corrected in kunena but I do not know how to fix the error report by the diagnostic tool.

When you look in the Kunena categories manager, for the category QWcrm do-you see more than one alias ?

Hi xillibit,

I have been through every category and removed any extra aliases.

I found that I had a Joomla menu item causing the abnormal SEF Alias issue.

However I still have the categoryMissingAlias error and no way of working out which one.

Things seem to be working ok (but no live yet)
