Question BIrhtday/gender displays, topic listing, general new to kunena guy questions

Am using this with community builder, solely accessible via the groupjive plugin (if that info matters to you)

1) I have the template crypsis features setting to profile position top. When viewing posts it shows birthday.gender as unknown. I dont even want those displayed at all, so how would I have those items removed? I tried going off the post www.kunena.org/forum/general-questions-a...and-crypsisb3#184262 but doing so via cryspis not crypsisb3, and no luck... Very possible Im just making a simple error here, but I simply don't know. Profiles are thru CB so Im thinking this may not even affect the result im looking for.

2) When users view the forum area it lists everything, topics and replies. I would prefer just to display the topics. Also spent much time looking into this through other posts and came up empty. Again, likely simple and Im just too new to see what I should be seeing to do. the old if it were a snake it wouldve bit me thing.

So far I like your forum setup, and intend to purchase the blue template once I've ensured I can do everything I want to do, so if you could also note if your suggestions would relate to that template or is a feature within it, that would be swell.

Remove the options with Template Override. docs.kunena.org/en/faq/template-overrides
Copy the horizontal.php (path is "components/com_kunena/template/crypsis/layouts/user/profile/horizontal.php" to your "Joomla template/html/com_kunena\layouts/user/profile" and comment out the unwanted tables at the beginning with <!-- and at the end with -->

You means the statistics?

I created a new post for testing, then did 2 quick replies to that post.

When listing I would like just the original post listed, not the replies..

I also posted this to the CB support forums, as Im thinking this is relative to Groupjive rather than Kunena - as when i create a menu item pointing to the same category specific area it looks proper, but thought it would not hurt to ask here in case you have an idea.. attaching a screenshot that shows the 2 differences.

I'm sorry, I have never tested Groupjive, so I can't not help you.
