Kunena 6.0.9.1 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.0.9.1 [K 6.0.9.1] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.0 and issues discovered during the development stages of K 6.0.

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

It's about time I upgraded. However, I can't find any straightforward instructions on how I upgrade from my current version.

Just update Joomla,then update kunena by the Joomla update, else download the package then install

Okey dokey, so it's just a case of upgrading to Joomla! 3.7 and then I will be able to upgrade to kunena 5?

Yes, its also working on older joomla versions, but there are some security fixes released, so i suggest to update joomla also.

Where can I download a version of 4.0.12? I want to install it on another website and then test upgrading to 5.0. I don't want to do it on my main website that use the forum in case something goes wrong and I toast the forum completely

Yes it's better to try it on a duplicate of your web page. So you can test and adjust the new installation. Kunena 5.0 series includes not anymore the Blue Eagle template and the style of Crypsis template is not the same.
