Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question After merge or move of whole thread a "Shadow Topic" is created.

I've been trying to delete a selection of messages. I tried to move a message (not the first one in the thread) and all that followed it to a temporary location and then grab the last few and move them back to to join the original thread. That much worked but I was left with a shadow topic in the temporary location. The icon to the left of the thread appears to be a trashcan. How long do "Shadow Topics" last? Is there any way to delete a shadow topic without deleting the newly relocated "real" topic?
Thank You
Bill

Yes, you can remove shadow topics. But I have seen now, there is no other color for shadow topics witht Bue Eagle5 (I've reported this issue).

1. Click on the category where the topic was before the move
2. Mark the checkbox
3. Delete the shadow topic

In the example (image) I've moved the topic from Testcategory 2 to Welcome Mat. The shadow topic remain in the Testcategory 2 and can be removed.

Tip: Delete it not permanently, then you can undo it.
You can see the difference between shadow and real topic also in the trash. A shadow topic is only in the Trashbin Topics list. Not in the Trashbin Messages list.

Hi Rich,
Sorry but that doesn't work on my site. I tried "Delete Selected" and nothing happened. What does the icon that resembles a garbage can to the left of the thread title signify?

What does the icon that resembles a garbage can to the left of the thread title signify?

This symbol shows deleted topics. Then it has worked.

There are two options for delete:
Delete - Moves the topic in the trash (in the Kunena configuration -> tab Security, you can set, whether deleted topics for Admins and/or Moderators will displayed in the frontend)
Permanently Delete - Removes it complete (you can do it not undo)
