Kunena 5.2.8 released and Blue eagle 1.6.7 released (02 Jan 2022)

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 5.2.8 [K 5.2.8] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 3.10/3.9.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 5.2 and issues discovered during the development stages of previous version of K5.2.

If you are using blue template you need to update to 1.6.7 version to ensure to have a compatible version with K5.2.8.

Important note: (07 Jan 2022) If you have created a Kunena custom.css, create a backup of it. Due to an error, this file will be deleted during an upgrade.

Question Starter template (Biolerplate) needs definitely some Improvements...

Hello there!

I recently had the idea, to check the latest changes / updates from Kunena. But sadly to see that nothing rly changed... I got still the Style bug, like before 2 ore 3 years. The bug that the style files not correctly loaded. The Default template looks very broken. :(

Just for fun, i start creating a new Template. I downloaded the Boilerplate, rename the Template name in xml file and template.php and rename the Folder name... I dont do any other Change... Then i reload the page, and get this 3 errors:

GET https://joomla:8888/media/kunena/cache/clean/css/kunena.css
index:53 GET https://joomla:8888/components/com_kunena/template/devcomlink/assets/js/main.js
index:53 GET https://joomla:8888/components/com_kunena/template/devcomlink/assets/js/main.js 404 (Not Found)

I realy dont understand, why the template is looking for files, they never exist in the boilerplate, after renaming the template folder...

And why are so many diffrent css / less files includet in the "starter kit"?
When i start a totaly new template, then i want a very basic template. But in this Starter Kit are alot images, icons, less files, css files, font awesome, icomoon, bootstrap............ cmon man ;)

In the template.php is a entry in line 47:
// Load JavaScript.
$this->addScript('assets/js/main.js');

But there is no main.js file in the assets/js folder...
I think there are alot more issues in the Boilerplate.
