Question [For discussion] K 2.0 - Developing custom changes to BBcode

Kunena doesn't use Joomla editor or html, so it cannot have the same function working.

This issue interests me. It's currently preventing me from moving from phpbb3 (where it is extremely easy to add new bbcode) to Kunena.

Here's an example of what I'd like to do.

I currently have a bbcode button for Soundcloud on phpbb3.

The usage is . The HTML replacement allows for the Soundcloud player to be embedded, and use the {URL} to specify which tune to embed.

Is there any easy way to replicate this on Kunena? If there is, I'd migrate in a second.

I'm trying to create an individual BBCode with Kunena 2.0.1, but i´ve failed.

Do you have a working example? The given hints were not clear enough (to me). ^^

Shame on me. It´s really embarrassing...

I don´t know how to start with that code snippet. I´m understanding how that code works.
But i don´t understand in which place i have to save that snippets to get it work.

Oder um es mal in unserer gemeinsamen Muttersprache zu formulieren: ich stelle mich zu blöd an dein Beispiel an die richtige Stelle zu kopieren um etwas lauffähiges zu erhalten. ^^
