Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

2. Install Kunena 2.0 beta
This is a error:
Prepare Installation ... OK
Uncompressing com_kunena-admin.zip ... OK
Uncompressing com_kunena-site.zip ... FAILED The file '/var/www/vhosts/xxxxx/xxxxxx/xxxxx/xxxxxxxx/administrator/components/com_kunena/archive/com_kunena-site.zip' could not be uncompressed.

Can you check if components\com_kunena exits. delete that dir. Or check dir permissions.

I would try to unzip the package and zip it again. It could work if you were seeing a zlib bug..

Install OK with chmod folder com_kunena and archive to 777

So the issue was in file permissions. Except that you should never use 777. :)

If you uninstall and install Kunena files back, you should get the right permissions for all files.

I agree with Matias. No-one should use CHMOD 777 for all folders and/or files. The recommended values are set out in Securing Kunena .
