Ig you paste a link to your site maybe someone could try and help resolve the problem.

I would imagine maybe a css conflict.

The problem is that, in order to see the problem, one needs to be creating/editing a message on the forum. In order to do that, in this case, one needs to login to the site. Do you have a test account that we can use to login to the site in order to see what is going on here?

Yes, the solution involves changing the CSS. Alternatively, the solution involves using a different Joomla site template. It all depends on how much time you want to spend working on adapting your Joomla site template so that it does not mess up Kunena. See the category description - the notes printed at the top of this page - for background reading about how to handle the matter "My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena".

Your problem are not the icons and avatar profile. The problem is in your template.css "/templates/soul_search/css/template.css" (line 36).

img {
display: block;
line-height: 100%;
}

If you comment out this line (red), everything is represented correctly.

img {
/* display: block; */
line-height: 100%;
}

Then please check your page, it could affect other images (I found no errors after this change).
