Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Question Problem with lightbox in IE on Win7

Problem with lightbox in IE on Win7 was created by alana
IE8 and 9.
Also fails on an old Vista laptop running IE9.

Clicking on an image to pull up a lightbox just causes a hang.

Fine in Firefox on same machine and Vista machine.
Fine on Mac with Safari and IOS device with same.
Didn't try Chrome.

Mootools issue? Or something else.
I've disabled lightboxes until I can get a fix, so it's not the end of the world.

Oh and isn't requiring a captcha for registered users a bit paranoid?

(1) See msg #1 of Before you post your question, read this first ; the lightbox is controlled by Javascript. Internet Explorer has a different DOM to, and therefore interprets Javascript differently from, other web browsers.

(2) See Guide to posting questions when asking for support that appears on the Index page and at the top of this page. I am assuming that you're describing a situation that relates only to your website and not when you are trying to view this website ( www.kunena.org )? If I am correct in my assumption, perhaps, we may be in a better position to assist you if we knew a little more about your particular circumstances. :dry:

(3) CAPTCHA at this site is an anti-spam measure. We're not paranoid; we would describe it as acting in responsibly.
